Le Printemps de Monthelie
Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st of March 2024
In conjunction with the Monthelie Découverte association, the wine producers syndicate organises the Printemps de
Monthelie (Springtime in Monthelie) every year. After the success of the Saint Vincent Tournante in 2004, the winegrowers of Monthelie
decided to continue on their own initiative and they organise the Portes ouvertes (opening their cellars) every year on the Easter weekend.
On this occasion, many of the Domaines open the doors of their wine cellars and their cuveries to welcome the general public to their
Burgundy wines.
The aim of this encounter is to let you share their passion and craft, and to let you taste the different terroirs of Monthelie.
Many craftsmen, producers of regional specialities, musicians and painters enliven the various cellars.
Two wood ovens recapture the skills of yesteryear for the making of breads, brioches and pizza, and a small caterer will welcome you with some simple fare.
